Did you know it only takes a second to share this post?!? Thank you in advance for your kindness ❤
Wynter is not your average "intestinal failure" kids, he’s not bedridden and stuck in medical limbo. He's super active, inquisitive, and loves life. He is one of the most energetic 2 year olds you'll ever have the pleasure to meet. Anyone who meets him, is richer for the experience because he truly is a one of a kind kid. His listing on the transplant list has been postponed since august… he had a set back but he will be listed in a few days. Literally they're saying next week.
We need your help, spread the word & share our fundraising efforts. Feeling generous this holiday season, please consider contributing to Wynter's Medical Care Fundraiser at https://gofund.me/a0d03f34
Wynter, my daughter, and I relocated to NYC in April to continue his medical care at NYPresbyterian Hospital. We are still in need of securing an apartment within close proximity to the hospital. Our fundraiser is meant for obtaining enough to cover up to three months of rent and a security deposit, as well as his ongoing medical costs, and incidental expenses. Supplies that are not covered by insurance take a big chunk out of our monthly income. The cost of living in NYC is astronomical.
Just in case you’re wondering why we choose to relocate to NYC from Florida - multi-visceral transplants are performed at NYPresbyterian or Boston Med. The transplant procedure includes his small and large intestines, pancrease, spleen, and a section of his stomach. I choose NYPresbyterian- the hospital my mom worked at when I was a kid.
