The "read the caption" sticker trend is over.

If your hook only works because you told people to scroll down, that is not a hook. That is a tax on their attention.

7 second reels are not dead. They still work when the hook actually delivers something. A surprising line. A clever visual. A pattern interrupt that earns the next 10 seconds.

Then the caption picks up where the hook left off. Add the context. Add the story. Add the takeaway. Let the B roll carry the visual while the words do the work.

The shift is small. The result is not.

If your reels are getting views but no saves, no shares, no comments, your hook is doing all the lifting and your caption is taking a nap.

Even better.... give the full story in the video through audio or text, and keep the caption simple.

We just got back from Social Media Marketing World with a notebook full of what is actually working in 2026. We are breaking it down piece by piece on YouTube. Link in our bio for the full conversation.

$7.5k → $17.2k in sixteen days. 📈

Same creator. Same content quality. One change.
We stopped spreading her content across weeks and started posting at the pace her audience was actually craving. Twenty five posts in sixteen days instead of five a week.

Here’s what I learned managing creators full-time — the ones winning right now aren’t posting better. They’re posting more. Quicker. Rawer. More often.
In a world drowning in AI-generated, over-produced content, people are starving for real humans showing up consistently.

Save this if you’ve been told to “post less, post better.” That advice is costing you money.

What’s stopping you from posting more this week?

We'll start.

"Reply to every comment within 5 minutes or the algorithm will punish you."

We tried it. For one week. We aged six years in seven days. The algorithm did not notice.

Your turn. The dumber the better. ⬇️

You don’t have a content problem.

You have a “I keep asking myself what to post and getting no closer to the answer” problem.

If you find yourself rewriting the same caption six times, second-guessing every reel, or feeling vaguely betrayed by the algorithm, it’s because you're not operating with a strategy before content.

It’s the layer above output. The part about planning that takes the time and effort and then creating the content gets easier. The reverse isn't true.

We spend 60% of our time working on our client's strategy before we every pick up the camera. If you're not doing this, try it for 30 days and see how you FEEL and also how the content PERFORMS. We bet you see a difference.

Posting once and praying it lands is not a strategy.

Brock Johnson said it best at Social Media Marketing World. He saw a 178% jump in engagement just by reposting their best content. But here is the part nobody talks about. You cannot find your great posts until you have a pile of good ones to choose from.

That means showing up consistently. Not randomly. Not when you feel inspired. Not when the kids are finally in bed and you have 12 minutes to throw something together.

Here is what we learned from Brock that changed how we work. What takes you 2 hours to edit on day one takes you 20 minutes by day 60. The reps make you faster. The reps make you better. The reps give you the data to know what is actually working.
Most people quit before they ever get to the good part.

6 months from now, you will either have a content library full of proven winners or another half-finished plan you never executed.

The 30-day fix for a service business that looks invisible online:

Week 1 → Audit captions: do they say what you do, or what clients get?
Week 2 → Rewrite the bio for ONE buyer
Week 3 → Surface 3 client wins as case studies (not testimonials)
Week 4 → Pick ONE platform to be exceptional on

Save this for the next time someone says “we should do more on social.” You don’t need more. You need this.

→ Send to your business partner.

We’ll start.

Brooklyn: “You make this feel easy when it shouldn’t be.”
Angelyn: “You’re the first marketer who actually understood my business in the first call.”

Your turn. Drop the one compliment you actually believe. ⬇️

The data is ugly: most creators lose 60-80% of their reach over time. Not because their content got worse, but because the algorithm decided their followers don’t care anymore.

The fix isn’t “post more.” Posting more into the void just makes the void bigger.

The fix is making the next 5 posts unmissable. Content the algorithm WANTS to share because the data screams “people stopped scrolling for this one.” Here's how:

1. Use identifiers in your hooks - "Why does it feel like your 40's body feel a lot like your tweenager years with all the hormonal ups and downs?"

2. Keep your post content really simple. One idea,

3. Use visual hooks to stop the scroll and keep people engaged.

If you’ve felt the slow fade - comments are quiet, story views half what they used to be, brand deals slowing - this is what’s actually happening. And no, it’s not your content.

→ Tag a creator friend who needs to see this.

Save this. You will want it next time you sit down to write a caption and your brain goes blank.
The 5 part formula every post needs to actually convert.

The Mirror Hook. Their thought, in their voice, in quotes.
The Permission Line. Normalize what they are feeling so they keep reading.
The Diagnosis. Name the real problem under the symptom.
The Outcome. Specific. Believable. Near future.
The Detached Close. Invitation, not pressure.

This is the framework we use for our clients and on our own content. It is the difference between posts that get likes and posts that get DMs.
Steal it. Use it tomorrow. We are not gatekeeping.
If you want us to run it on your business instead, the link in our bio is where it starts.

Chasing followers is so 2023.

The algorithm stopped caring about your follower count a long time ago. It cares about whether your post earns its keep.
Every post stands on its own now. The right keywords. The right message. The right audience. Or it dies in 24 hours and you start over Monday.

If you're posting about everything, you're known for nothing.

Pick the one thing you want to own. Build around it. Become the person people think of when that topic comes up.
That is how you stop chasing and start compounding.

If this one landed, the full conversation has 5 more nuggets like it. YouTube link in our bio.
