The most dramatic rebrand we’ve ever done involved changing almost nothing.
Same logo, same colors, same SMC. They had such a great story...it’s just that nobody was telling it.
So after enough campus visits, focus groups, and stakeholder interviews to genuinely concern our families, we were able to create a sharp brand position, a complete messaging system, and expanded their logo into a full identity system so intentional, it looks like a whole new brand.
SMC is growing during a time when small colleges across the country are struggling to prove their value, some even quietly closing. They just couldn’t prove it with their brand...now they can. And it’s working: applications are up, enrollment is up, and engagement is up.
So while we may ask more questions than a five year old, we promise it’s worth it.
