girl to girl,
you can be damn good at both.

you can love the work. chase the dream. build something you’re proud of.

and still be a really, really good mom.

ambition doesn’t make you less maternal. motherhood doesn’t make you less capable.

so just in case you needed permission today or you’ve been carrying guilt for wanting to be really good at both,

you’re allowed to be.

baby on the lap. emails getting sent. videos being created. dreams still getting chased.

both can be true.

raising babies. building dreams. wildly grateful i get to do both.

we hustle for businesses we believe in.

we don’t know how to do anything halfway.
when we’re in, we’re all in.

because the kind of content we create and the stories we tell require it.

we’ll wake up at 2am to catch the part of your business most people never see.
spend hours on a content shoot.
sit in a deer stand.
follow you into the pasture.
follow a blood trail through the woods.
stand in the kitchen learning laminations before the sun comes up and the rest of the world is awake.
learn your people by name.
know who’s been there 20 years and the story behind why they stayed.
learn how the product gets made, what makes your business different and all the little things you’ve done so many times you forgot they were worth noticing.

because somewhere in all those things you stopped noticing is the story someone else needs to see.

that’s what we’re chasing.
the things that make your business yours.

we get close enough to understand them, stay long enough to notice them and tell them in a way that helps people on the other side of a screen understand why what you’ve built is worth caring about.

that’s how you show up authentically online.

our clients say we live and breathe their brands.
good.
you can’t tell a story from the outside.

actually, it’s very chic to be living the dream doing what you love every day 🤙🏼

there are days i get so caught up chasing excellence that i forget

this is all i ever wanted.

to create.
to tell stories.
and every day, i get to do exactly that.

i get to be the videographer, content creator, video editor, and social media manager for brands i genuinely believe in.

the truth is, i don’t know how to do social media management halfway.

all of me believes dreams deserve someone willing to carry them as if they were their own.

so i immerse myself in a brand until i understand the heart behind it, the people behind it, and the story it’s trying to tell.

because when people understand the heart behind your business, something changes.

they stop seeing another business.
they start seeing the people who built it.
they don’t just buy from you.
they believe in you.

and people don’t become loyal because you posted another video.

they become loyal because they finally understand who you are and why you do what you do. that’s the heart of real brand storytelling and content strategy.

that’s the kind of work i want my name attached to.

clients have told me,
“i think she lives our brand even more than we do.”
“she lives and breathes this.”

those words have stayed with me because that’s exactly how we approach content creation and social media management for small businesses.

we’re all in.

i don’t want to simply manage your social media.

i want to know what this business has cost you.
the risks you took when no one else could see the vision.
the sacrifices that kept the lights on.
the standards you refused to lower, even when it would’ve been easier.
the moments that remind you why you started.

because that’s the story worth telling.
and somehow, i get to call the privilege of telling it my work.

i’d say that’s a pretty chic way to spend every day.

making my dreams come true one business card at a time 💃🤸🏼‍♀️🎊🤙🏼

i truly had no idea people still asked for business cards until i was asked approximately 8,738,595 times and had absolutely nothing to hand them.

so naturally, i had to hit ’em with the ol’ “ahhh, i just gave out my last one!” 😂😅🫠

but look at us now.

created some, have them in hand, and i’m passing them out like hotcakes.

and because i know me and know how fast i lose a boring business card, and i know i cannot be the only one, i wanted mine to be fun! colorful! vibey! and the kind that keeps pulling you back in for another look.

so happy with how they turned out and honestly feeling a little more like a real business gal with ’em in hand!

but now i really want honest answers only lol are you keeping business cards or losing it before you make it back to your car? ↓

we feel this to our core 🌞🫠🙃
summer as a business owner + full-time mom is no joke, but what a gift it is to have the opportunity to do both.

so grateful 🤙🏼

this was the whole point.

to build a business that lets me be present for the life i prayed for, while making a living doing work i love with my whole heart.

and because every client who trusts me is part of the reason i get to live this life, i try my hardest to every bit of it with absolute excellence.

i grind hard because i’m grateful.

for the businesses that trust me.
for the family i get to be present for.
for the dream that somehow became both.

this is the whole point.

last night, i was driving home after an event and thinking about what the night meant to me. i looked a lot like this. a giant puddle of mush.

i built stoked on the belief that if you do what you love, you’ll never have to work a day in your life.

and i still believe that. the last almost-4-years prove it to be true.

but somewhere along the way, my love for the work started getting tangled up with my desire to be better.

because i care so much, i can lose sight of the fact that i’m already doing the thing i prayed to do.

i’m always studying.
always noticing what could be stronger.
always watching people i admire and editors i dream of my work looking like.
always seeing the gap between where i am and where i want to be.

and sometimes, that hunger to grow makes me feel behind instead of grateful or simply happy to be doing what i’m doing.

because i don’t want to just be good at this.
i want to be great.
i want to make work that moves people.
i want to build something that actually matters.

but tonight reminded me that the point was never to arrive at some imaginary finish line where i finally feel “good enough.”

the point was to love the work while i’m still growing in it.

tonight, i got to stand in a room full of people having the absolute time of their lives and capture it.

not force it.
not manufacture it.
not try to make something look meaningful.

just witness it.

the laughter.
the movement.
the joy.
the little moments that would have disappeared if no one had been there to catch them.

and then people started saying things about the way i work and the stories they’ve watched me tell.

they talked about my videos.
how much they moved them.
how the emotion came through.
how they could feel the room, the people, the heart of it all.

how i’m able to capture more than just what happened,
but what it meant.

they talked about the way i move through a room.
how i notice what others may overlook.
how i catch the small, sacred pieces of a moment before they disappear.
how i’m able to make people feel something in a way not everyone can.

and honestly, hearing people talk about my work like that means more than they’ll ever kno

because when you spend so much time in your own head, picking apart every little thing you could have done better, it’s easy to forget that other people are seeing the heart behind it.

and to have someone else see it,
really see it,
is one of the greatest compliments of all.

because that’s all i’ve ever wanted.

not just to make pretty videos.
not just to get the shot.
not just to create content that fills a square online.

but to make people feel something.
to connect with them in some way.

to tell the truth of a moment.
to bottle up the joy in the room.
to capture the parts people may not even realize they’ll want to remember one day.

and tonight, i remembered.

this is why i started.
this is why i work so hard.
this is why i care so much.
this is why i stay up late, obsess over the details, study the craft, and pour so much of myself into this business.

because getting to tell stories for people is not lost on me.

getting trusted with someone’s business, their brand, their people, their moments,
it is not small to me.

last night reignited something in me.

i was just grateful to be there.
fully alive.

camera in hand.
heart full.
doing the thing i prayed for.

and maybe that’s the part that makes me ache with gratitude the most.

that this business was never random.
i wholeheartedly believe the Lord tailor-made stoked work out just for me.

i cannot imagine a more “me” thing to get to do with my life.

to walk into a room and look for the feeling.
to notice the little things.
to catch the joy before it disappears.
to tell stories that help people see the beauty in what they’ve built.
to create something with my hands and my heart and somehow call it work.

i don’t think i could have dreamed up a better way to make a living if i tried.

and tonight reminded me of that.

how lucky i am.
how honored i am.
how deeply grateful i am that this is what i get to do.

not just for fun.
not on the side.
not every now and then.

but as my actual life.
as my job.
this is how i get to make a living (!!!!!!!)

as the thing that pays our bills and fills my soul and keeps stretching me into who i’m becoming.

and maybe that’s the whole point.

not that it never feels like work.

but that every now and then, God is kind enough to remind you that the work itself is the gift.

and maybe the best work is born from that place.

not from pressure.
not from proving.
not from chasing some version of good enough.

but from love.

from being fully present.
from caring deeply.
from getting to do the thing your heart was made to do.

thank you to every person who has believed in me, trusted me, and been along for the ride as i build the dream.
