Thank you Performing Arts Academy at Lafayette High School for working with ADWORX! We appreciate the opportunity to continue working together and showcase incredible creativity and talent in our community!

Their mission is to teach and lead a community of students that speak their passion through performance.

The PAA provides instruction in the disciplines of choir, dance, instrumental music/band, piano, string orchestra, and theater from instructors with extensive educational credentials and performance experience. With an emphasis on performance, many groups and individuals compete in events on a national, state, and local level.

🌀 MAJOR HURRICANE ISAIAS — 120 MPH

The center of Category 3 Hurricane Isaias is now about 232 miles southeast of Pensacola, moving north-northeast at 15 mph.

No change to the warnings or the track from the 7 AM advisory, so the Destin picture holds: 6 to 9 feet of surge, tropical storm winds arriving this aftwrnoon, hurricane conditions tonight, and Destin on the strong east side of a landfall west of us.

That is the newest as of 8:36 AM Central. The next full advisory is 10 AM Central, and I would expect it to firm up the landfall point and timing.

Before the Youngsville Sports Complex became a sports destination for teams from around the world, Tim Robichaux, Youngsville Parks & Recreation and I were selling a vision for the community.

The Core Mission & Goals included:
⚾️Youth Development: Focusing on the growth, health, and fitness of local children through active sports participation.
🏀Community Enrichment: Create family-friendly, community-oriented programs that build strong family bonds and vibrant neighborhoods.
⚾️Inclusivity: Offer accessible programs like the Sports For All Champions League, which promotes meaningful play for children of all abilities using a supportive buddy system.
💰Economic Impact: Driving positive local, regional, and statewide economic growth by hosting premier tournaments and athletic events

Tim’s 3 keys to success included:
🔑Marketing/brand awareness
🔑Facility image
🔑Qualified and knowledgeable staff

We developed a marketing strategy aimed at sports tourism, with a goal of making the City of Youngsville Louisiana a true event destination, by hosting collegiate, national and global tournaments and events.
