Happy Birthday to Rye Hazlett, our Copywriter.

Rye brings a different angle to the work. The kind that makes you stop, reread, and think, “okay, that’s good.”

She’s not afraid to push ideas a little further or say things in a way others wouldn’t. Which is exactly what good writing should do. Somewhere between clever and clear, she finds the balance.

Help us wish Rye a great birthday today.

A post goes viral and suddenly everyone’s paying attention. Feels like a win. But here’s the part most brands miss…

Not all attention is good attention.

If people remember the post but not your brand, what did you actually gain?

Strong brands don’t chase every viral moment. They know which ones reinforce what they stand for—and which ones just create noise.

Are you building recognition… or just borrowing attention? Click below to read more.

Viral moments can create attention, but not always the right kind. Learn when virality helps your brand—and when it quietly works against it.

Memorial Day is not about a sale. Or a long weekend. It’s about remembering the people who gave everything. And taking a moment to pause. Which, to be honest, most of us don’t do enough.

In branding, there’s a tendency to fill every space. Say more. Post more. Push more. But sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is be intentional about what you say… and why you’re saying it.

Today is a good reminder of that. Honoring those who served and sacrificed.

Happy RUSSO-versary to Rye Hazlett, our Copywriter.

Over the past couple of years, Rye has brought a sharp point of view to everything she touches.

She knows when to keep it simple, when to push an idea further, and when to say what everyone else is trying to say… just better.

Because good copy doesn’t just sound nice. It actually does something. We’re glad she’s part of the team.

Help us celebrate Rye today.

“We deliver innovative solutions.” “We put our clients first.” “We’re a trusted partner.”

Sound familiar? That’s the problem.

Most brands aren’t competing on quality. They’re competing on who sounds less generic.
If your messaging could be swapped with your competitor’s and no one notices… you don’t have positioning. You have noise.

Clear brands say something specific. They take a stance. They sound like themselves.
Not like a template.

If your brand sounds a little too safe, there’s usually a reason. Contact us at brandrusso.com.

Rebranding usually starts with the wrong question: “What should it look like?”

That’s not the problem.

If your brand feels off, it’s usually because it doesn’t match the business you’ve become.

New logo won’t fix that. Better clarity will.

So the real question is… are you redesigning something—or realigning it?

A lot of websites just… sit there.

They look fine. They say some things. They check the box. But they don’t actually do anything.

No clear message. No direction. No reason for someone to take the next step. It’s basically a digital brochure no one asked for.

Your website should guide people. Answer questions. Make it obvious why you matter.
If it’s not doing that, it’s not working. And “it looks good” isn’t the same as “it performs.”

If your site feels more like a placeholder than a tool, there’s usually a fix. Learn more at brandrusso.com.

If your marketing still relies on rigid playbooks and reactionary moves, you’re already behind. In this clip, Jaci Russo breaks down why the shift from playbooks → frameworks and reaction → strategy isn’t optional anymore. It’s survival.

Because in a world where AI is leveling the playing field, the brands that win aren’t the fastest… they’re the ones who think better.

Stop churning. Start understanding. Stand out.
