Logos don’t just come out of thin air. At Infantree, it’s a creative process that has us going back to the drawing board—dozens or even hundreds of times. Here’s a visual storyboard of how we iterated our way to the perfect logo for Clean Cut.

The Stevens & Smith Center is a long overdue addition to Lancaster’s downtown landscape. To accompany the Center’s historic debut, we designed a custom website that provides a small glimpse into the legacies of Stevens and Smith—as well as their vast network of abolitionists.

On the homepage, visitors can explore interactive hover biographies linked to photos of Stevens and Smith, detailing their roles in the fight for equality. Archival imagery is featured alongside modern photography, bold typography, and vibrant colors—visually bridging the gap between Lancaster’s past and present.

Other pages touch on the museum’s unique atmosphere, highlighting state-of-the-art exhibits and collections awaiting visitors. We included specialized features, including flip cards and gallery tabs, to engage potential visitors with bite-sized portions of history. Accordions are utilized on the hours and admissions page, offering easy access to information on accessibility and ticket costs while maintaining a clean interface.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work our developers and designers put into this project—but we have to admit, the star is the Center itself. We encourage everyone to visit the Center and explore this new cultural landmark in our community!

After 16 years of hard work and anticipation, a world-class museum has officially arrived in downtown Lancaster. For the last five years, we have walked alongside the team at The Stevens & Smith Center as their creative partner. It’s been an incredible privilege to be a small part of sharing this vital piece of history with our community.

Robin Sarrat said it perfectly during her opening remarks this morning: “The power of partnership enables us to shape history.”

We are deeply grateful to the Stevens & Smith Center for trusting Infantree to help share the remarkable stories of Thaddeus Stevens and Lydia Hamilton Smith. Congratulations on the beginning of an exciting and important new chapter!

Visual language is an exercise we do for every client, but working with PES, the process felt particularly apt. Much like nature, these mood boards are about establishing a creative equilibrium, a harmonious balance between differing elements, textures, and ideas—because when the natural order is right, everything just works (and that’s where brand identities are found).

How do you create a fun, expressive identity with an air of professionalism? While that may seem like a tall order, our work with Partners for Environmental Stewardship (PES) helped them achieve that ideal balance.

Our designer drew inspiration from Swiss Style principles to achieve that harmony between beauty and function. Modular grids, precise layouts, and organic shapes all come together to reinforce that sense of order and hierarchy—as well as that little bit of randomness—that defines our natural world.

We opted to avoid a traditional “earthy” palette, introducing a vibrant tomato red as the primary color. The orange undertones provide a welcome visual contrast to the flora and fauna in their photography, drawing our eye to the subject matter (and ultimately, the heart and soul of this brand).

The logo’s design is inspired by the Sunnyside Peninsula, abstractly depicting the convergence of sky, land, and water into one cohesive symbol—it’s a celebration of unity and symmetry, representing the “one-ness” of our shared spaces.

The Lichty Bros are all about getting folks back on the road—creating a site that’s fast, friendly, and easy to navigate felt like the natural next step for them as a brand. We streamlined their online presence by merging three separate sites into a single, cohesive platform. The new site proudly features their updated visual identity, including a heritage-inspired color palette, classic and modern typography, and patch motifs reminiscent of traditional car emblems. We also developed custom blocks that can be reutilized in the future, giving them the flexibility to add new content and expand the site as they grow. Steering our clients to success (and then handing off the keys) is one of our favorite parts of working with great brands like the Bros!

While they love the work they do, The Lichty Brothers recognize that a day in their shop might not be ideal for you—which is why they put so much emphasis on customer service. Their well-earned reputation for being trustworthy and hard-working inspired us to create a website with polished visuals, reflecting the quality of their character.

To capture these authentic moments, we tapped one of our talented photographers on staff, as well as , a videographer that has done great work for us on several client projects. The crisp, close-up imagery reflects the precision and meticulous care they bring to maintaining vehicles—and client relationships. We chose not to gloss over dirty hands or tarnished work boots, as this is just the reality of a hard day’s work in the shop.

The result is a website that feels warm and welcoming, like stepping into your grandparents’ favorite hometown auto shop—so you can feel confident leaving it to the bros.

After being in the auto business for 80 years, the Lichty Brothers logo needed a bit of a tune-up. While we didn’t want to lose the heritage feel of the brand, the design team set out to create a unique, modernized logo they could own in the automotive space—and use across branded merch, business cards, and print collateral. We looked to classic car emblems for design inspiration, developing several different badges and wordmarks that reflect the hometown charm of their business. Add in a catchy tagline of “Leave It to the Bros,” they now have a distinct identity and brand voice they can hang their coveralls on.
