How do you create a fun, expressive identity with an air of professionalism? While that may seem like a tall order, our work with Partners for Environmental Stewardship (PES) helped them achieve that ideal balance.
Our designer drew inspiration from Swiss Style principles to achieve that harmony between beauty and function. Modular grids, precise layouts, and organic shapes all come together to reinforce that sense of order and hierarchy—as well as that little bit of randomness—that defines our natural world.
We opted to avoid a traditional “earthy” palette, introducing a vibrant tomato red as the primary color. The orange undertones provide a welcome visual contrast to the flora and fauna in their photography, drawing our eye to the subject matter (and ultimately, the heart and soul of this brand).
The logo’s design is inspired by the Sunnyside Peninsula, abstractly depicting the convergence of sky, land, and water into one cohesive symbol—it’s a celebration of unity and symmetry, representing the “one-ness” of our shared spaces.
