โโRepresenting Haiti goes beyond football.
It means carrying a history, an identity, a culture, and the hopes of an entire people. It means recognizing the privilege of defending the national colors and the responsibility that comes with it.
I wear this jersey with immense pride. A deep, sincere pride that needs no opposition to others to exist. That is precisely what football teaches us: to passionately defend what is ours while deeply respecting what others defend.
For 90 minutes, there are colors, rivalries, emotions, and an absolute will to win. Afterward, what remains is the essential: the respect we have for one another and the bonds sport can create between peoples. Our differences are what make football beautiful. Our ability to come together through it is what makes it great.
I am proud of Haiti.
Proud of our people.
Proud to wear our colors.
And while football may pit us against each other on the pitch for 90 minutes, its greatest strength is bringing us together.โโ
