The Festival returns June 26-28! This family-friendly event is a blast, featuring carnival rides, games, plenty of food, and live music. Friendly reminder: weather and pilot permitting, balloons will only be onsite for morning launches from 5:45-6:15am (balloons may be visible in the sky longer depending on wind speed), tether rides (6:30-7:30am or as long as fuel lasts and weather permits) and Night Glow (sunset). Did you know that artists from all over the world travel to Portland, Oregon to paint it? And I’m not talking about our skyline!

Portland is a massive, living outdoor gallery. Instead of standard city views, global and local street artists have turned our brick walls and concrete columns into stunning masterworks.

Here are 6 incredible murals you have to hunt down next time you are in the Pacific Northwest:

1. “Attitude of Gratitude” – Painted by Cork, Ireland artist at SE 9th and Division.

2. ”Capax Infiniti” – Created by South African multi-disciplinary artist at SW Washington Street in downtown Portland.

3. ”The Musician’s Union Building Mural” – Mastered by Malian storyteller and artist at NE 20th and Sandy.
