Great connecting with everyone at today’s networking meeting—always something valuable to take away, and this time was no exception.

We heard from Kris Mazanti, “Flash,” founder of Rewire Electric, who shared a candid and practical look at his journey into the electrical trade and ultimately entrepreneurship.

What stood out most was that his path wasn’t linear. He started out considering a career as a mechanic and even had early hands-on experience doing flooring work—tearing up carpet, laying tile, and getting comfortable working with tools. A turning point came when he got exposure to electrical work installing electrical cabinets on cell towers. Watching electricians on the job sparked something.

Even then, he gave the mechanic path a real shot—but it didn’t live up to expectations. Faced with two opportunities—working as a Boeing mechanic or joining a family friend at Boon Electric—he took a chance on becoming an electrician. That decision changed everything.

As an apprentice, he discovered he genuinely loved the work. His first major project—a full electrical buildout at a synagogue in Tacoma—set the tone. From there, he contributed to antenna installations at UPS facilities to support logistics systems, and later worked on large multi-family high-rise projects.

What’s impressive is the level of commitment behind the scenes: working full-time during the day, attending night school for four years, and still finding time to support his wife’s business. That consistency paid off when he earned his journeyman title.

After the birth of his first child, he made another pivot—joining the union while quietly taking on side jobs, especially the kind others avoided. That’s where he began specializing in knob-and-tube electrical work, leaning into a niche rather than away from it.

Now running his own residential electrical business, his story is a reminder that careers aren’t always about the “perfect plan”—they’re built through exposure, decisions, and a willingness to try something new.

Appreciate Kris for sharing such an honest look at the journey. Looking forward to seeing what he builds next.

Had the pleasure of hearing Amy Woidtke from Making Space for You present “From Sunshine to Sanctuary” at our recent networking meeting—and what a powerful look into the human side of moving and organization.

Amy shared the story of a cross-country move from Florida to Kirkland, where her client’s mom packed an entire household into 70 carefully labeled boxes—complete with a detailed inventory of every loose item. While the logistics were impressive, Amy highlighted that the biggest challenge wasn’t the move itself—it was gaining trust and helping her client feel comfortable stepping back and accepting support. She even walked through the home side-by-side with her client to ensure everything felt right, and stayed responsive to follow-up texts like “Where did we put that?”

Her motto says it best: moving clients from “I can’t find anything” to “everything has a home.”

With a small but passionate team of two organizing contractors, Amy brings over 20 years of experience to her work. Her approach is client-centric, combining detailed project planning, home mapping layouts, and thoughtful touches like labeling spaces for movers so every box lands exactly where it belongs.

What stood out most was Amy’s commitment to community and sustainability—donating the majority of items to keep them out of landfills—and her dedication to client care.

Amy proudly serves King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties—and based on her exclusively 5-star reviews, it’s easy to see why.

Thank you, Amy, for an inspiring and insightful presentation!

At this week's meeting, Gary Mosckowitz, from Turning Point Chiropractor, presented on the three main levers of keeping your body young. As everyone ages, a good way to keep your body young is to signal to the body that it is still needed. A big way to make sure your body is receiving the signals is through keeping up your strength and muscle mass. You don't have to go through major changes to work on this; small changes in your day-to-day life can help with this. Gary informed us that three ways to begin making sure your body is getting the right signals are to (1) Increase your protein intake; (2) Resistance training and strength training; and (3) Getting Chiropractor tune ups to help clear the nervous system to receive the signals.

When was the last time you felt really good? Are you struggling to recover from an injury? Are you losing precious hours and days of your life to chronic pain? Are you taking pain-relief medication every day just to get by? Are you tolerating restriction and a loss of mobility that limits your perfo...

Sean wants everyone to consider 5 things when coming to speak with him about personal insurance:

(1) How much insurance do you currently have?

(2) Do you own your own home, and if so how much is left on your mortgage?

(3) Do you have any revolving debt (i.e. HELOCs)?

(4) Do you have children or plan on having children? If so, do you intend on helping them pay for their education?

(5) If you don't come home one night, how much money do you want your loved ones to receive each month and for how long?

Sean is dedicated to being thorough and making any insurance transition process as easy for you as possible. Give him a call!

Meet Amy Woidtke, who offers services in home organizing and move management in the greater Seattle area! She is looking for clients who are either couples, retirees in before, during, and after relocation chaos, or families preparing their deceased loved one's homes for sale.

Amy’s organizing talent is inherited from her parents. As early as 4th grade, Amy was regularly organizing her room and other areas in the house her parents built. However, Amy didn’t set out to become a pro organizer. She graduated UC Davis in psychology to be a counselor and make a difference in the quality of people’s lives. When she realized that wasn’t the right fit, Amy began trying on admin hats at companies that made a difference. 6 years later, after Amy had reorganized everything in sight, her manager said, “You’re really good at organizing. Have you ever considered becoming a professional organizer?” The rest is herstory, including organizing over 20 of her own home relocations!

What makes Amy stand apart? She can connect with just about anyone, considers clients like family, sees things from “both sides of the table,” customizes your space to your natural learning style, and is eco-passionate. Amy practices re-use, re-purpose, and sustainable purchasing whenever possible. She is also committed to giving back and being a voice for equal living amongst all beings. AW is a safe space for the LGBTQ and allied community.
