After years of wanting to learn, Linda decided to become trained on sound bowl meditation. And this week, she brought her sound bowls to our monthly Bold Table gathering.

At Bold Identity Studio, we talk a lot about our stories and the people who shape them.
This week got a powerful reminder of hers.

When her sixth-grade teacher asked her to emcee the opening of a 50-year-old Mark Twain Elementary time capsule, it led to a morning of first friends, familiar faces, and thanking the teachers, whose lessons we still remember.

Mrs. Bev Roth Hammrich taught hundreds of students to dream bigger and believe in themselves. Those early influences are such an important part of our stories.

We attended the luncheon this week, where speakers Michelle Massman and reminded us that no matter what you’re navigating - a sale, a hard conversation, an obstacle - it’s all about the approach.

Luncheon attendees embodied that advice. Everyone’s approach was so friendly, supportive, and open to conversation. It made for great connections and we’re already looking forward to the next one!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Ashley Sorenson and her customer experience and client journey business, Ashley Lane LLC.

Her thorough, insightful analysis of Bold Identity Studio came at exactly the right moment for our growing business, and we were honored to guide her through one of our VIP Strategy Sessions focused on expanding her brand visibility and authority.

Lunch on our new-to-us patio in the sunshine was a lovely bonus in the middle of a productive day.

Our road trip to visit clients in Chamberlain and Geddes wasn't planned for National Small Business Week last week, but the timing turned out to be perfect. As two female small business owners ourselves, there's something special about sitting across from other women building their dreams. And these two businesses? Powerhouses.

Berry + Basil in Chamberlain is the kitchen shop that makes you want to elevate every part of your routine. Owner Angi Thomas Hanzlik is now adding Angi Hanzlik for District 26B House legislative campaign to her plate, and owner Cindy Peterson just launched the Joy Curated Podcast. We walked out more inspired than when we walked in.

In Geddes (population 156), the mother-daughter duo Amanda Vasek and Olivia Downs are transforming a 25,000-square-foot building on Main Avenue into a hub for South Dakota artists and tourists. The Authentic Arts gallery is already open, they’re hosting art classes, and the Rooted Arts Festival is coming this summer. A garden space, design studio, and gathering spot are also in the works.

If your summer travels take you their way, stop in. These women are worth the detour.

When clients work with us, things start moving fast.

Angela Drake joined our year-long Bold Table in October.

By April, she had a clear plan to level up Fight Like A Ninja - Brittany Corcoran Scholarship Fund her incredible nonprofit. She booked a VIP Day to put that plan into motion. And she showed up as a powerhouse in our April Bold Start cohort.

Three engagements in six months. Because once the clarity hit, she was ready to move.

This is the part we love most. Watching a leader name her goals out loud and then go make them real. We are cheering her on, and we cannot wait to see what comes next.
