Last week, we were delighted to support the 2026 cuisinegoodfood Awards once again, celebrating the culinary talent, innovation and dedication that continue to shape Aotearoa’s vibrant hospitality industry. Bringing together more than 600 of the country’s leading chefs, restaurateurs and hospitality professionals, the awards recognise the people and venues setting the benchmark for dining excellence across New Zealand.

For over two decades, Cuisine has set the gold standard, widely regarded as New Zealand’s pre-eminent restaurant awards. In 2026, 19 category winners were named, each representing the pinnacle of achievement in their field. Our media relations activity for Cuisine has delivered over 100 pieces of media coverage for the awards this year and the superb group of winners throughout our cities and regions.

As a sponsor of the awards, we were especially proud to see Chef Rex Morgan receive the Pead Legend Award, recognising his outstanding contribution to New Zealand hospitality throughout his career. Congratulations to Rex and all of this year’s category winners, hat recipients and destination dining awardees on your well-deserved achievements!

This week we were delighted to support Elizabeth Arden Australia and New Zealand with the launch of their first flagship fragrance in eight years, introducing Eternal Aura. Created by women for women, Eternal Aura is a radiant floral amber Eau de Parfum with a twist.

In a celebration of modern feminity, we hosted key opinion leaders at S O P H I E in the heart of Ponsonby. Guests were treated to hand massages with the new Eternal Aura Body Balm from Elizabeth Arden Beauty Advisors, created their own eternal keepsake in the form of permanent bracelets topped off with generous spritzing of the fragrance.

Completed with catering from San Ray and LIQUID LIGHTNING, these intimate and interactive events will be one to remember for years to come (and not just because of the permanent bracelets!).

Last Thursday, we were delighted to once again support our client Recorded Music NZ to produce the Aotearoa Music Awards!

A celebration of the wonderful talent, skill, and artistry that comes out of New Zealand, the Awards recognise the outstanding achievements of our most prominent musicians. During the Awards, Che Fu was inducted into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame, marked by a 10-minute performance to close out the show.

The Pead team were on the ground managing media at The Civic throughout the momentous evening, welcoming finalists and guests on the red carpet (as well as meet our childhood hero Suzy Cato)! A huge thank you to our media, who filled every one of our passes available which made for a vibrant and energetic red carpet and media room.

Congratulations to Recorded Music NZ for a successful evening, and to all the winners for their well-earned recognition. It was an evening full of celebration and emotion, we are proud to support our talented artists. 🎶❤

Team update!

We’re pleased to announce that Adam Warin has been promoted to Senior Account Director.

After almost 10 years at Pead, Adam is a huge part of our Corporate team. With key clients including Xero and Centrix, he brings an impressive ability to keep a lot of moving parts on track.

He is also one of the great characters at Pead: He’s witty, generous with his time, and never short of the line that gets the office laughing.
