For three days, the Propellant Media team came together in Asheville, NC for .
What made this year's summit special wasn't just the workshops, activities, team dinners, or excursions—it was the opportunity to bring our entire team together in one place.

From our Atlanta and Charlotte offices to welcoming two of our international team members to the U.S., the summit gave us a chance to strengthen relationships, collaborate face-to-face, share ideas, and continue building the culture that drives our work every day.
Throughout the week, we participated in professional development sessions, team-building activities, strategic discussions, and plenty of memorable moments outside the conference room.

As our team continues to grow, opportunities like this remind us that our greatest strength is the people behind the work.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make a success. We're excited to bring the energy, ideas, and momentum from this week into the rest of 2026.

One mistake agencies can make with AI?

Automating everything.

Look — clients didn’t hire an agency just for someone to plug prompts into AI tools all day. They hired a team for strategy, experience, judgment, and real decision-making.

AI should absolutely improve efficiency.
It should help teams move faster, organize ideas, analyze data, and remove repetitive work.

But the value of an agency still comes from the human side:
the thinking, the creativity, the optimization, the relationships, the context.

Because at the end of the day, businesses don’t pay for automation alone.
They pay for expertise.

The smartest agencies right now aren’t replacing their teams with AI.
They’re using AI to make strong teams even better.

AI can optimize a lot of things in advertising.

But you still need a human being managing and optimizing campaigns.

Because campaigns aren’t just numbers — they’re context, timing, judgment, and understanding human behavior.

AI might spot patterns faster.
But humans understand nuance.

A platform can recommend increasing budget, changing targeting, or shifting strategy… but someone still needs to ask:

Does this actually make sense for the client?
Does this align with the business goal?
Does the creative still feel right?

That’s why the future of marketing isn’t humans vs AI.

It’s AI handling efficiency while experienced people guide the strategy and decision-making.

That human layer still matters — a lot.

What people actually do — what they click, search, and engage with — tells you far more than static profiles.

Because behavior reflects intent in real time.

AI is incredibly powerful.

But one thing people forget is… it still makes mistakes.

And some mistakes are small — like awkward copy or incorrect information.
Others can be expensive.

Imagine an AI system accidentally increasing media spend, changing campaign settings, or making optimization decisions without human oversight. That’s not a typo anymore — that’s real business impact.

That’s why human review still matters.

AI should support decision-making, not completely replace it.

Because when something goes wrong, I’d still rather have a human make the mistake — someone who understands context, judgment, and consequences — instead of blindly trusting automation.

The future isn’t AI or humans.
It’s AI with human oversight.

That’s the balance smart companies are figuring out right now.

Not every place holds the same value.
High-performing campaigns prioritize locations tied to real buying behavior.

Because where people go matters — but some places matter more.

You can do everything right… and still lose money.

Great creative.
Strong copy.
Clear CTA.

But if the wrong people see it?
It doesn’t matter.

Most ad problems aren’t creative problems.
They’re strategy problems.

Who you target determines everything:
• Who stops
• Who clicks
• Who converts

Right ad + wrong audience = wasted budget.
Right ad + right audience = scale.

AI can automate a lot of things.

But that doesn’t mean you should automate everything.

There are still certain parts of business that require human judgment, emotional intelligence, and real relationship-building — especially when trust is involved.

Strategy.
Leadership.
High-level decision-making.
Complex client communication.

Those things still need people.

The smartest companies right now aren’t asking, “How do we replace humans?”
They’re asking, “Where does automation create efficiency, and where does human perspective still matter most?”

That balance is where the real advantage is.

Most campaigns stop at awareness.
That’s where the money gets lost.

The real leverage comes after the first touch.

📍 Capture attention with location
🎯 Follow up with precision
💰 Convert when intent is highest

That’s how you turn traffic into results.
