Did you spot the EDP team out and about in Eastbourne yesterday? 👀

We spent the day capturing some of the town’s landmarks, speaking with independent business owners and creating short pieces of content they can start using across their social media, websites and wider marketing.

A big thank you to The Faerie Crystal Shop and Aurelie & Rose Eastbourne, two lovely shops inside the Enterprise Centre that welcomed us in, spoke to us about their businesses and let Dylan capture a short video for each of them.

We also met businesses throughout the Enterprise Centre, Grove Road and South Street. The content gives us something useful to create for them straight away, but the conversations also help us understand the people behind each business, what they are working towards and where better content or online visibility could make a difference.

We’ll be back out in Eastbourne tomorrow, meeting more local businesses and doing it all again 🙌

Last week, we swapped the day-to-day client work for a session in the classroom 👨‍🎓

We spent some time with students on the Digital Marketing MSc at the University of Brighton.

After a bit of reminiscing (one of us was sat in those same lectures a few years ago), it turned into an open conversation about what marketing actually looks like outside of uni.

We talked about SEO and AI search, but it naturally moved into how everything connects. Websites, content, strategy, and what it’s like working with businesses of all shapes and sizes 🏢

The level of engagement made it what it was, and it’s conversations like that that highlight how much the space is shifting, especially when you look at search, AI, and how it all connects.
