Crackerjack Communications We make your concepts click, your words work, and your copy a little more pop-y. Our passion?

At Crackerjack Communications, we make your concepts click, your words work, and your copy a little more pop-y. We amp up your brand, add a little glam (or sophistication, whimsy, or clarity—depending on your needs) by designing award-winning communications. Transforming complex (and let’s face it, sometimes dry) topics into communications that are concise, well organized, and off-the-chart good.

Whether you need a 2-minute video, a 3-line ad, an academic newsletter, an air freshener (yes!), a beautiful holiday card, or a 36-page viewbook, we are adept at delivering great work in, well, a snap.

Today's mission: Capture videos of smart people saying smart things about AI. 🎬
Bonus points for minimal blinking on camera.

We’re behind the scenes at an Infobase video shoot featuring Aleksandar Tomic, who’s sharing insights on how artificial intelligence is reshaping the educational experience for educators and students.

Special thanks to the crew making it happen: Kurt Gerdenich, Jordan Hass, Cynthia Deal, and Andy Deal

From helping residents access essential resources to protecting local wildlife, we’ve been putting our creative to work across the Commonwealth.

Here’s a snapshot:

🚇 A retirement checklist postcard for MBTA employees, on behalf of Lincoln Financial

🐥 Multilingual signage for MassWildlife, educating beachgoers about shorebirds along the coast

🤱 An outreach pamphlet promoting WIC (Women, Infants, and Children), a free nutrition program for Massachusetts families—translated into nine languages

Different audiences. Different challenges. Same goal: making important information easier to understand, access, and act on.

A beloved Boston event—but make it magical. ✨

This year, the Emerald Necklace Conservancy reimagined their annual fundraiser as Sparkle for the Park: An Enchanted Evening.

The challenge? Dream up a look and feel with some serious wow factor.

We did just that, creating whimsical branding complete with romantic greenery, flourishing script, and just the right amount of sparkle.

From the save the date and invitation to the event look book, web banners, and social graphics, we carried that magic across every touchpoint—all in support of Boston’s historic park system.

The event was definitely one for the storybooks—and we were proud to help bring it to life. 📚

Last night, we had the privilege of joining more than 1,500 business, government, civic, and nonprofit leaders at the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting—a powerful reminder of what makes this region so special. 👏

A highlight for us? Celebrating our longtime client and friend, Catherine D’Amato, who was inducted into the Academy of Distinguished Bostonians.

During her remarkable tenure as President & CEO, Catherine helped transform The Greater Boston Food Bank into a $180 million organization serving communities across the region. And after more than 40 years of impact, advocacy, and leadership, she announced her retirement this winter.

We’ve had the pleasure of partnering with Catherine and her incredible team for 11 years and counting, and it’s hard to overstate how much admiration we have for what she’s built—and the way she’s built it.

An inspiring leader. A force for good. And a very well-deserved honor.

What a busy week—and it’s only Tuesday.

From a panel at FSU’s MetroWest Startup Week (alongside Matt Douglas of Sincere Corporation), to supporting longtime client Income America at PSCA National Conference in St. Louis, to attending Allego’s fabulous S3 Conference—courtesy of co-founder Mark Magnacca (who gets full credit for committing to the Blues Brothers bit).

Also: reminder—nothing beats being in the room.

Tomorrow, our Founder Ginny Walker Caggiano takes the mic at Framingham State University’s Marketing and Media Innovation Day—part of MetroWest Startup Week. 🌟

She’ll join Matt Douglas, CEO of Sincere Corporation, for a panel discussion on “The Modern Marketing Playbook,” moderated by Anna Welland MBA, Founder/Principal at Welland & Co.

Together, they’ll get into how marketers are breaking through in the age of AI—using sharper storytelling, stronger connections, and real clarity to turn noise into growth.

In the neighborhood? Grab a friend and swing by! Ginny Walker Caggiano

Just one “L,” people—they're taking the "fluff" out of "kerfluffle" (thank goodness—that never sat well with us).

"They" are the editors of the AP Stylebook, who released the 58th edition of the notorious guidelines last week.

We here at Crackerjack applaud their choices to make "healthcare" into one word, and the clarity on periods at the end of bullet lists.

But not everything is all right (never "alright") in their new rules: publications following AP style are now advised to use "petted" as the past tense of "pet," as in, "I petted the cat yesterday."

Our resident grammar nerds are making a *huge* kerfuffle about it. 🫠

Each year, Bay Cove Human Services helps more than 25,000 Massachusetts residents overcome unique challenges—and realize their personal potential.

That’s a mission that deserves to be seen and celebrated. 🙌

To bring Bay Cove’s impact to life in a dynamic way, we helped design and build their 2025 online Annual Report, which captures the people, progress, and purpose driving the organization forward.

The 2026 Boston Marathon is here—and The Greater Boston Food Bank’s runners are showing up in style. 🏃‍♂️

We designed custom shirts inspired by GBFB’s iconic wheat symbol, turning it into a bold, vibrant pattern that brings the brand to life on the course.

Built to stand out. Made to move. Just the right amount of loud.

Good luck to Tom, Ben, and Jasper Sieniewicz! We’ll be cheering you on all the way to the finish line. 🏁
